Bansko

Bansko is a world famous winter resort. Bansko is located at the foot of the Pirin mountain. The Pirin National Park begins near the city. The climate is mountainous and allows retention of the snow cover from December to April, and the alpine nature of Pirin Mountain provides excellent conditions for professional and amateur skiing. In Bansko, there are 56 km of ski slopes that are excellently groomed, and the ski season is guaranteed from December to May thanks to 30 Techno Alpin artificial snow guns. The ski center also offers a 16 km ski track, equipped with artificial snow machines and lighting, connecting the higher parts of the resort to the city.

There are also a cabin cableway for 8 people, five 4-seater Doppelmayer lifts, one 3-seater Poma lift, six ski tows and ten children's skis. The highest point of the ski center is 2,560 m, and the lowest is 1,000 m, and the total length of the slopes and ski roads is 56 km. Of these, 35% for beginners, 40% for advanced and 25% for experienced skiers and snowboarders. 80% of the tracks are equipped with artificial snow machines.
